I really would not recommend doing this. Even with basic you are having to deal with passwords unencrypted in your code. This is the reason the functionality is designed as it is to use the XSADMIN tool. Anything else would require insecure handling of passwords or certificates. For OAuth you are going to have to process certificate requests and I doubt you have the API support in XSJS to do this securely. I really strongly recommend that you use the XSADMIN tool and the HTTP Destinations as they are designed instead.
