I raised an oss message and here's what I got in response.

The procedure you created in project explorer, so as other files under project explorer are "development artifacts", and currently HANA only supports debug on development artifacts. Therefore, what you have seen is an expected behaviour. Debug the procedure created in modeler is not supported, that's why it is not possible to set break-point on it. "
