Thanks. I certainly don't have an undersized system because I'm currently just trying to find out all constraints that will allow me to size the system properly, I haven't yet started to populate the DB. I could not find any advice about correct sizing, is there any?
Concerning partitioning, would that be a possibility? I mean to partition by time so that only new rows would have to be merged. From the docs it is not clear if the number of partitions must be fixed or if it can grow continually.
