the same problems I had too. I had an deployed (activated) script and got only the broken link message.
Now my example is running.
But as mentionend here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3368520 I found unexplainable behaviour. Perhaps a feature, perhaps flaws.
During digging around I came across the following steps and perhaps one of this might help you too:
- the SAPUI5 package (and all other standard packages) did not get deployed into the Revision 48 images on AWS => this guides you to get it: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3307805
This alone did not solve the problem for me.
I checked in AWS in the Management Console - area "Security Group" of your running Instance, that the relevant Port (8000) is assigned ... and by doing this, you might ensure to, that your instance did use the right securty group.
The problem on my side vanished after I then deleted all packages (and checked that even the local files on the PC have been erased) and build the example from scratch again.
