thanks for all your feedback. I don't want to answer each posting individually therefore I send this general reply:
@Glopal: I was able to connet to my database via Putty but when I type in the command su -l hdbadm I get the answer user does not exist.
@Liu: I guess you mean the file C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts. I added the port numer 30015. Afterwards I try to connect without success. I also tried it with port number 22. Same result
@Vitaliy: I opend the ports 50013 and 50014 in the security group as well. But I can't still connect.
What is really strange is that the user hdbadm doesn't exist. Did I miss a configuration step? When I connect with the database via Putty I use the user ec2-user. How can I generate this user or is there a way to regenerate the user via aws?
