I think this means that there is a conflict between your local and remote copies of the file and you should try to do a manual or automatic merge.
In case it's of any further help, the HANA studio has some guidance on meaning of this icon - Help -> Help Contents. From there, Workbench User Guide -> Reference -> Team support with CVS
