SAP is busy simplifying BW and see the Product Roadmap below. If I am creating an Infoset here is something to consider.
Existing Infoset - Expose it as a composite provider to the end user.
Changes to existing Infoset - Change the underlying DSO's to Advanced DSO
New Infoset - Instead try Composite Provider or Advanced DSO
