The JSLint warnings/errors that you can configure on the client side are completely separate from those on the server side during activation. The server side checks are already more forgiving and shouldn't stop activation for stylistic errors. You shouldn't be able to configure anything which would allow activation in one system but then stops activation in another. Are you servers both the same revision level? What exactly is the activation error on the destination system?
