We submitted a request for certification when the product was originally released. The process is the same as with IBM and other large vendors. It does take time. We'll post an update on the product site when/if such certification is approved by SAP. Certification plan is 'HANA-APP Certification Test Plan'.
In terms of integration, the product basically runs scheduled SELECT statements against public M_* monitor views (http://help.sap.com/hana/html/monitor_views.html) every 5/15/60 minutes, using a read-only account. We're not utilizing built-in statistics tables so there is no dependency on the statisticsserver component.
