What type of AWS instance do you have?
By type I mean like "m2Large" etc. because I read from one of the posts that the lowest version of AWS instance does not come with ScriptServer being installed. To possess you need to upgrade your AWS intsance.
This is my personal expereince. I did not experience this with our new instance which is much higher version than the one where I had this issue.
