In that case, I think SAP NOTE 1766578 needs to be i implemented

look like what you meant to say is to migrate data from tlogs/l to tlogf. Correct?

please note that this scenario only applies when migrating POS Data from POS DM to SAP POS DM on a HANA database.

There is supposed to be an ABAP coded custom data migration tool that was developed to migrate data from POS DM TLOGS/TLOGL tables to the SAP POS DM TLOGF table on a HANA database.

It uses standard POS DM APIs to read/write data from old TLOGS/TLOGL to the new TLOGF table.

The Data Migration Tool supports parallel processing and can be used to do two types of migration:

Remote Migration or Local Migration. You can also restrict the migration process to selected stores, days and transaction indices.

1. Remote Migration

In this approach, the Data Migration Tool is installed on the source system (POS DM). It reads transaction data from the local TLOGS/TLOGL tables and writes the transaction data to the remote TLOGF table in the target system (SAP POS DM on a HANA database) by calling the standard RFC interface (/POSDW/CREATE_TRANSACTIONS_EXT) to create transactions on the POS DM HANA system, the only pre-requisite being "     A trusted RFC connection exists between the source and the target systems".

let me know if this makes sense?
