1. Yes. Repositories created with this configuration will have virus scanning enabled.
At any time you can check your configuration with the command line tools (and also modify it), see SAP HANA Cloud Platform
2. Unfortunately there is no specified virus scanner specific exception in the open CMIS standard. Therefore we throw a CmisConstraintException with a respective text message. Unfortunately your only way is to check for this exception and inspect the error message (should start with virus found).
3. Typically people use the EICAR test virus (which is a short text snippet, where all virus scanner vendors have agreed on treating it like a virus to be able to test their setups, see EICAR - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
