This thing i know that Webi and Crystal reporting tools access the data from HANA DB with Semantic Layer(Universe UNX) by consuming HANA data models to create UNX universe in BO 4.0 using the SQL interfaces(JDBC & ODBC). But my question is can these reporting tools access the data models without using UNIX universe and directly from HANA DB .
