Ok, so may seem like a dumb question, but ...
New to HANA and working in HANA Studio, I can see that when I 'Activate' an Attribute View (for example), I am actually creating a Column View in the Catalog.
Where I am unclear, is whether this Column View is still a set of 'instructions' that are executed at runtime, or whether a Column View is actually a store of data ,(i.e. the resulting Data from my Attribute View).
I am thinking maybe of a SQL Server Schema Bound View where a 'view' is actually a 'table' of data.
If my question makes sense, I hope someone can help clarify.
Of course if does not make sense, please tell me and I will try to re-write !
