You can define your calculation view without a measure but you will need to make one change:
If HANA is Pre-SP07, Disable the Multi-dimensional Property of View (Select the view, in the Properties, set Multi-dimensional property as false)
If HANA is SP07+, select the category of Calculation view as Dimension and not as cube.
But defining a calculation view without measure (Simple calculation view) will not make the calculation view visible in Direct Reporting tool as ex. Excel.
