Tried the newer 1.0.73 version of HANA Studio
check out this blog Connecting to #SAP #HANA Instances on #SAPHCP from #Eclipse IDE
if you download and install from SAP | HANA Developer Edition you may **not** get the 'Cloud Instance' context menu in the Systems tab (HANA Development perspective) option; that by passes the need to use 'neo open-db-tunnel'
(atleast the version i downloaded today did not have it - installation was much smoother than 1.0.70 though)
What you need to do is open the Hana Developer Studio ( or a plain Eclipse Kepler IDE) choose the following menu options
Help->install new software
in the dialog that comes up , there is a field called 'Work with...' enter this text

I installed everything but i guess you need atleast SAP HANA Cloud Platform Tools and SAP HANA Tools
Everything you need to work with HANA DB or HANA Cloud Platform or HANA Trail Cloud Platform is there
