Thanks, overlooked the Limitations paragraph... my apologies. Started out with LIKE,but constructing the <searchstring> was so convenient and as you say CONTAINS offers more functionality. OK back to the drawing board. When using SQLScript, what kind of patterns/plan operators would you suggest to achieve the same?
