do you refer to the difference between the terms update and upgrade? The note seems to apply to both scenarios. I used HLM successfully for upgrading from Rev. 67 to Rev. 70.
BTW: In the HLM menu, "Apply Support Package Stack" is also listed under "Update SAP HANA System"
