Re: Debugging: "WebSocket connection is not ready for debugging."

Vijay,

Thanks for your response. Rereading my post I see that I was not specific in what kind of debugging issues Eclipse is giving me.

Basically three issues:

1. A Javascript debug session needs to be binded to a session, this is for my particular setup, going to set up a trusted http connection between an app server (non SAP) and HANA, with security set to public difficult as there is no sessions context.

2. Quite often the debug session freezes and the exception socket closed is thrown

3.  Changing the security setting to Basic the list of sessions does not always feature the sessions that is shown in the Postman/XS cookie. Even when the session is shown the eclipse debugger is not always activated.

With Postman en the HANA IDE open in Chrome most of the time that  I activate a breakpoint in the Web IDE and send a Postman Post the debugger is activated without me selecting a Session. Till now it looks like the debugger in the Web IDE is more stable then in debugger in eclipse. Testing complex SQL on large datasets somehow blocks some mechanism with a long running SQL.

How to free up ports in this situation is basically my question.

Kind regards,

Fred
