Thanks Vitaliy and Rocky, it "almost" did the trick! I say "almost" because the HANA instance is SP6 and all SAPUI5 activations in December are subjected to the error described here. It worked as soon as I updated the ACTIVATION_AT column of table "_SYS_REPO"."ACTIVE_OBJECT" for all "sap.ui5.*" objects.
