We are in the process of preparing Scope documents as our client is planning to migrate to BW 7.3 then on to HANA.
Our current System Configuration: Release / Version - 701 / 006
Just wanted to know the methodology / Migration steps that we need to follow and also have few points required to be understood.
(From BW Development Prospective)
1. At the moment we have both 3.x and 7.x data flows, Is it mandatory to convert all the 3.x flows to 7.x in order to perform DB Migration to HANA ?
Will there be any implications if we don't convert the 3.x flows?
2. What happen to the ABAP Routines / Func. Modules ? We have implemented many function modules which are used across the system
3. What are the basic points to be taken care of ?
Any Suggestions / Considerations or inputs from your previous experiences will be highly appreciated.
