thank you for your answer! You are right, it makes no sense to install HANA on uncertified hardware. The hardware which seems to suit our needs quite nicely, is indeed "certified for SAP HANA Edge Edition". I assume that in some sense this hardware does utilize the full capability of HANA.
My question is: what is the difference between "certified for SAP HANA Edge Edition" and "certified for SAP HANA"?
I would like to chat with sap labs people also, but am uncertain which website you mean. May I kindly ask to provide an URL?
