Which HANA Studio revision are you using?
It's probably related to Eclipse versions, I'd install an up-to-date revision, based on Eclipse Juno.
BTW, I had problems with Studio update when there were changes in the underlying Eclipse version. The update process apparently just installs the new plugins/features but not actually update the Eclipse installation (at least that's what happened for me). I had to uninstall HANA Studio and reinstall it instead of updating, so that the newer Eclipse version could be installed.
